PTSA memberships are on sale now for $5.00 each. Students, parents, grandparents, teachers, and staff members can all join the Wildcat PTSA Family by clicking on the link above and filling out the online membership application and $5 payment.
WHY JOIN?
Involvement means: Over 85 research studies show students are more likely to earn better grades, score higher on tests, pass classes, attend school regularly, have better social skills, show improved behavior, positive attitude toward school, complete homework assignments, students graduate, and continue education.
One membership: You belong to local (TEWMS), County, State, and National PTAs which gives you access to online resources, member discounts, and more! Additional discounts to students.
Improve communication: Know what is going on in our school and community by having access to State and National PTA sites – www.pta.org and www.flpta.org.
VOLUNTEER REQUESTS
The school year is going to be full of exciting events and we hope that you can squeeze in some time to volunteer at our great school. Weightman Middle loves our volunteers and we appreciate any time you can spend at our school helping out!
VOLUNTEER BACKGROUND CHECKS If you are interested in volunteering with the PTSA or at TEWMS in any capacity, all volunteers must complete the background screening. You can do this by visiting the Pasco County School District’s website or by clicking on the “Volunteer Forms.” above. Please note that the background checks must be completed and approved by the district prior to volunteering. It usually takes about 24 hours, but could take longer so please submit early in order to avoid any delays.
The response to your application will come via email so please check your “spam” or “junk” email boxes for the response.
