Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application Process

Please submit only ONE application per household.  If you submit an online application, you will NOT need to fill out the paper application.  Filling out more than one application will delay the processing of your application.  You will be notified by letter as to your child(ren’s) eligibility status. Please have your FOOD STAMP CASE NUMBER and/or GROSS INCOME available prior to starting the online application process.  The online screen cannot sit unattended for more than 10 minutes.  If left unattended for more than 10 minutes, the system will automatically log you out. The online application has been correctly submitted once you receive a congratulations page with a confirmation number.  Please print this page for your records. Applications are processed within 5-10 business days, depending on volume.

Until your application is processed, you will need to provide your child(ren) a meal from home or send money to purchase school meals.

Important: A new application must be completed each school year. Meal benefits begin on the day the application is processed by Food and Nutrition Services and continue throughout the school year in which the application is approved, the summer, and approximately the first thirty days of the next school year. The approval process can take approximately 5-10 business days. Parents are asked to provide your child with lunch money or a lunch from home until you have received verification of your meal benefits.
