“OFF & AWAY” ELECTRONICS POLICY
Students may use their electronic devices, according to district/school policy. This means that all devices need to be powered off and put away while in class. Students should not be sending texts, reading texts, listening to music, or playing games during class. The only time they should be used in the classroom is with teacher permission for instructional activities.
If you use it without permission, be prepared to have it confiscated!
First Time: Teacher gives you a verbal warning of the “Off & Away” policy.
Second Time: Teacher confiscates your device for the entire class period.
Third Time: Teacher sends you to the office to lock up your device for the entire day.
Fourth Time (and each time afterwards): Teacher sends you to the office to lock up your device for the entire day, your parents will have to come pick it up, and you will get a referral.
DON’T ABUSE YOUR ELECTRONIC DEVICE PRIVILEGE!
